NSW YOUTH WEEK: Design Your Life Workshop

Learn some of Tara’s signature Creative Activations™ to understand yourself and her tried and tested Dream & Do™ Method to design your life

  • What if you had fun tools to understand yourself more clearly and use that to shape your future?

  • What if confidence came from knowing who you are and what matters to you?

  • What if you had a simple way to turn your ideas, interests and instincts into a plan for your future?

This workshop helps young people tune into who they are and take small but powerful steps toward creating a life that feels like their own.

Tara Shelton, founder of Dream & Do™, is an award-winning creative entrepreneur who has developed Creative Activations™, a series of creative exercises designed to help people discover who they are, what they value and what they desire.

Using these tools, participants will explore their identity, strengths and perspective, then learn Tara’s Dream & Do™ Method (Dream → Discover → Design → Do) to turn that self-understanding into direction and action.

Tara arrives like a modern day Mary Poppins- with a pink suitcase, filled with unexpected Creative Activations™ designed to surprise, delight, and open up new ways of thinking about your life and future.

Each participant will receive a Dream & Do™ Workbook, where they will capture their reflections, ideas and creative discoveries throughout the session. They will leave with its pages filled with colour and insight, a personal “secret map” to help them shape and design their future.

Participants will;

• Hear Tara’s story of reconnecting with herself through creativity and using it to redesign her life and work

• Take part in guided Creative Activations™ to better understand who they are

• Explore their values, strengths, interests and what makes them unique

• Learn the Dream & Do™ Method (Dream → Discover → Design → Do) to turn self-understanding into direction

• Translate their insights into a simple, clear next step

• Leave with greater clarity, confidence and a stronger sense of self
